Yes , right ... and the authorities are hunting them !! I'm often asking myself why they do not get more space/walls to show their art , there is more than enough concrete crying for colour in our cities !!
Thanks a lot !! If you're interested , here's the colour-version : [link] I prefer the bw-version !! Keep an eye on Graffiti in your area !!! Often it's worth it ... like this two [link][link] ... or this detail [link] ... enjoy !! ... hope you don't see me obstrusive And i'm really eager for an answer !! :
Promise me to take photos of it if you see some ... !!! I think Graffiti and Streetart are strongly underestimated . The skills of the artists are unbelievable admirable - see the pic above , the expression of the faces , realistic as a photo ! On the other hand - there are so many ugly concrete-walls in town , crying for colour! In my opinon the authorities should allow Graffiti at those walls by selected crews - when there's a piece like this [link] is on-location it stays clean usually , think you know what i mean . Colours are much better than concrete !!!
Dued, you photograph some of the best graffiti! I'm in love with this work! Breathtaking! Lovin the present blight. The people inset, remind me of the suffering after Hurricane Katrina, here in the US. This composition is bleak, but beautiful! Love it!
Sorry for my late reply , had some problems with my IBook !! Glad you like it !! It's one of my faves as well - i admire the skills of the artist !! The faces looks like photographed and enlarged - unbelieveable to get this effect with spraycans !! I tried to figure out who's the artist and what's the reason for this Wall but 'til now i had no success ...
Oh, no worries! I have problems with my PC, all the time. I agree, man; the faces look photographed. What amazing skill, whomever possesses. It's cool that you look to find the story, behind the pieces you photograph. I long to know every story, of every piece I see. But unfortunately, that's basically impossible. Thanx for your reply.
Hey thanks !! It's one of my faves as well - i admire the skills of the artists . Standing in front of it nearby it looks like an enlarged photograph ... By the way did you see the coloured version : [link] ?? I prefer the b/w pic ...
